The Ludwigsburg University of Education is a modern center of excellence for educational sciences in four closely-related areas: School and pre-School education, extra curricular education for children and teenagers, adult/further education as well as education in cultural and social areas.
The courses of study mainly cover Primary School teacher education, Special Education Teaching and Professional Pedagogy (M.Sc.) The university of Education in Ludwigsburg is also increasing its participation, in cooperation with the University of Stuttgart, in Teacher Education for Gymnasium (German Grammar School).
Ludwigsburg University of Education has a wide range of international relations. Within the Pathway Project, we cooperate with 25 Partners from 21 Countries, to introduce and disseminate IBSE into schools and universities, as well as Museums, Science centers and other learning opportunities.. InQuiBiDT is a project that contributes to Pathway by using IBSE consequently in teacher and Student training.
