Inquiry based learning and especially inquiry based teaching of natural sciences are concepts of the future and their relevance in classrooms is growing continuously.Pupil's interest in science and a connection to their everyday life requires special support, just like teachers require individual encouragement and assistance in implementing “Inquiry Based Science Education“ (IBSE) into their classes. Therefore, the goal of the PATHWAY-Project is to illustrate means and methods for such implementation in teacher education and training.
