At first, participants compile each other’s previous knowledge regarding Inquiry Based Science Education (IBSE), using most recent didactical methods. Subsequently, the characteristics and classification of inquiry based teaching in class are explained in detail on the basis of a best practice example.
In the event’s second segment, the participants are given the opportunity to create their own PATHWAY sample lesson, either picking a topic out of a given pool or using one of their own choosing. After conceptualization, which is assisted by the research coordinators, the lessons are then presented and discussed within the seminar group.
