Discussions round: Engineers Without Borders, Australia / Technik ohne Grenzen, Bayreuth

Carolyn Oldham is Professor at the University of Western Australia (UWA) in the School of Civil, Environmental and Mining Engineering. She is visiting the Department of Hydrology as International Fellow of the University of Bayreuth in June 2017.

Carolyn Oldham has led research projects in a number of developing countries, has sat on the Board of Engineers Without Borders Australia, and has worked in East Timor to build capacity in their Universities to train East Timorese engineers. In an open discussion with the Technik ohne Grenzen - Regionalgruppe Bayreuth she will provide some learning from working in this only recently de-militiarised region.
