Norbert Gerbier-MUMM Award 2012

In 2012 the World Meteorological Organisation (WMO) will award the article „Climate control of terrestrial carbon exchange across biomes and continents“. The renowned price is directed to publications from physics, natural an social sciences with reference to meteorology supporting the WMO`s research. The article was published 2010 in Environmental Research Letters, authors are Prof. Dr. Chuixiang Yi (City University of New York) and 150 scientists from 116 institutes on six continents, among them Prof. Dr. Thomas Foken (department micrometeorology) and Prof. Dr. John Tenhunen (chair of plant ecology).
