Junior scientist from Bayreuth receives Bernd-Rendel-prize

As one of four junior scientists Klaus-Holger Knorr received the Bernd-Rendel-prize (DFG) for his ongoing PhD-work. He studied geoecology in Bayreuth and is now working in the DFG research group "Dynamics of soil processes under extreme meteorological boundary conditions" on the relevance of organic substances for electron transfer processes to the groundwater.
