Symposium "Evolutionary Arenas"

From 12-15 August 2018 the symposium "Evolutionary Arenas" is taking place in the Franconian Switzerland. Participants try to bring movement into the conversation about where, when and why accelerated evolution takes place. Will the new concept of "evolutionary arenas" provide new insight into why the evolutionary rate is variable through time and space? Conference hosts are the departments of Plant Systematics and of Biogeography, University Bayreuth.
