German Environmental Award for Kai Frobel

The conservationists Inge Sielmann, Dr. Kai Frobel and Prof. Dr. Hubert Weiger as well as the entrepreneurs Bernhard and Johannes Oswald are being awarded the 2017 German Environmental Prize by the German Federal Environmental Foundation. Dr. Kai Frobel studied geoecology at the University of Bayreuth and is contributing to the training of students as a lecturer in biogeography. The award honors the committed work of the conservationists on the first and largest pan-German conservation project, the “Green Belt”.
