Students support international IPBES conference
2017-03-07
Two dozen students from the Master Global Change Ecology are supporting the 5th IPBES plenary meeting from 7-10 March in Bonn as volunteers. Some are part of the communication team posting current news about the conference on facebook, twitter and in the GCE blog. The Intergovernmental Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES), set up by the United Nations, works on bringing together the knowledge on conservation and use of biodiversity and ecosystem services by 2018. The aim is to compile a basis for decision-making that is comparable to the IPCC climate report.
