Neue Emmy Noether Nachwuchsgruppe bewilligt

Good news just before Christmas: Dr. Marie Spohn, researcher in the group of soil ecology at the University of Bayreuth, will establish her own junior research group in the DFG Emmy Noether Programme for investigating the element cycles in graslands under changing availability of nitrogen and phosphor. Her project "Stoichiometric homeostasis of soil microorganisms as a driver of element cycling in grasslands" will be funded for five years.
