Meet the Fellow @ Bayreuth Humboldt Centre: Vincent Merckx

The Bayreuth Humboldt Centre has launched "Meet the Fellow", a series of interviews with fellow and grantees of the Bayreuth Humboldt Centre. The second interview of this series was conducted between Vincent Merckx, research group leader at the Naturalis Biodiversity Center (Leiden, The Netherlands) and Senior Fellow 2020 and his hosts, BayCEER members Gerhard Gebauer and Johanna Pausch on their joint project Carbon transfer in arbuscular mycorrhizal networks. Vincent Merckx visited Bayreuth in October 2021 and held a fascinating lecture on mycoheterotrophy in the BayCEER Colloquium.
