Public Health & Global Change, Energy & Climate

Two courses in the Bayreuth International Summer School running from 1st to 14th July cover topics from the focus area Ecology and Environmental Sciences: in "Public Health & Global Change"  public health surveillance and applications as well as climate changes and health, major vector-borne diseases, impact modelling as well as economic aspects of health and climate change are discussed. "Energy and Climate" deals with social and political issues raised by renewable energy as well as the technical questions connected with the secure and affordable supply of environmental friendly energy.
